I'm having trouble getting the end of the shifts cash drawers to balance out. It seems it has something to do with customers paying on their charge accounts. Any advice?

Not sure what you mean by not balancing out. Is it way off, up or down and what are the charge accounts? Debit or credit card sales? If yes, do you process charges internally or on an external credit card machine?
